INJECTION DEVICE

CHALLENGE:  A local doctor approached us with a solution they envisioned for a problem observed during routine injections. The problem was related to the method nurses used to perform the injections, and that a few issues arose with certain treatments.

APPROACH:  Our initial approach was to brainstorm with the customer in order to generate several designs for the product that they had envisioned. Their concerns were manufacturing costs, FDA-approved materials, testing, and marketability of the unit.
Several iterations later, we had come up with a design that met all the customer’s requirements. We prototyped the device, created 3D models for concept visualization, and handed off the Intellectual Property to the customer for manufacturing.

IMPACT:  The customer was happy with the first-stage design, and had the information they needed for 2nd stage funding..
