In 2017, we as a company found it difficult to maintain momentum on Tier 4 project requirements due to increasing demand in our marketplace. Our in-house engineers were continuously pulled away from the Tier 4 projects to respond to new, immediate market demand. Willem Mast and his team at WMD^2 helped us complete these projects within our timeline and product specification requirements. By adopting our design and CAD best practices, the team at WMD^2 became a natural extension of my engineering team. I look forward to working with them on future projects.

CHALLENGE: Propell a TyCrop organization needed to have the Cummins OEM Tier 4 Final Diesel engine package in their remote controlled hydraulic power unit.
APPROACH: WMD Squared engineers and designers met with Propell to review the existing design. Three concepts were developed to investigate different options for putting the Cummins engine into the existing design. Work began. WMD Squared made an onsite visit to finalize the redesign and then put the agreed upon changes into effect.
IMPACT: In 4 weeks the HydraBear was upgraded to Tier 4 final after minor customer review while checking files back into TeamCenter.
