After graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2002, Aaron Block gained experience in quality control, NC programming, solid modeling, parts processing and production at a local machining facility.
His experiences allowed him to apply his manufacturing knowledge toward tool and equipment development projects, as well as to perform technical writing duties within an R&D group at a local oil and gas services company. In 2018, he earned his MBA while being employed full time.
Paired with his ability to quickly troubleshoot issues in the field, these skills eventually led to Aaron’s role as a Senior Operations Engineer where he offered engineering support to locations across the U.S. and abroad.
In his free time, Aaron enjoys helping friends with personal projects, volunteering as a math tutor for high school and college students, kayak fishing, mountain biking and staying physically active.
