We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineering Manager with 10-15 years of experience to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of fabricated items, machinery, custom components as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. We are a fast-paced team, and work on a variety of projects with large assemblies.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of engineers and designers.
- Perform engineering design for new and interesting industrial equipment, mobile units, mobile trailers, hydraulic equipment, weldment, and machine design. Design with plastics or plastic molds a plus.
- Engineering calculations with MathCAD and FEA with Solidworks Simulation Linear. Solidworks Non-Linear, CFD, ANSYS or SIMULIA experience a plus.
- Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
- Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
- Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
- Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineering License in LA, TX and CO.
- 5-10 years experience in mechanical design, drafting, manufacturing or other related fields.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment where the engineering team was responsible to create production level part and assembly drawings, along with a Bill of Materials.
- 3+ years experience in max stress calculations using Statics or Mechanics of Materials.
- 3+ years experience with Solidworks Simulation FEA.
- 3+ years experience with machine and fabricated welded equipment design.
- Strong grasp of Solidworks and AutoCAD Inventor, Creo is a plus.
- Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 and GD&T
- A plus if you have experience with BPVC analysis using Compress or Solidworks Non-Linear.
